Edited by John C. Van Horne, this collaborative project of the Jefferson Papers and the Center for Digital Editing at the University of Virginia restores Jefferson’s compilation of documents from his time as secretary of state in George Washington’s cabinet. The collection includes Jefferson’s notes on political topics that are often referred to as the “Anas.”
